This year’s Representative ball of Palacký University will take place on Friday, February 20, 2025, at the NH Collection Congress Olomouc Hotel.

The ball – a festive culmination of the UP Academic Week – will be held to the rhythms of swing. The Olomouc big band NEW STREET BAND will take you on a trip back to the 1920s and 1930s with a special tribute to Frank Sinatra. The popular Slovak duo Malalata will take on a modern take on swing with their project DJ SWING THING and DJ PAPA DJANGO. In addition, you can look forward to traditional dance performances, swing dance workshops, an acrobatic show, a rich raffle, and a great buffet!
